Here’s a possible solution for making a stretchy IK limb setup entirely in nodes (no SDKs). This takes into account the scale of the “GlobalScale” group above all the controls, and will dynamically update to keep the limb working as expected at any scale. That means the arm will bend and keep its shape as expected, but if you try to extend the wrist/heel control past the wrist the limb will stretch to correctly fit that distance.
The next step will be for me to set this up to be Python scripted. I’ve been able to make a version of it so far, but I’ve been running into issues with setting up unique name creation for the nodes, joints, and controls I create. Update coming soon!
